It's a book of the present, the fiction of an urban myth, a whole full of the past and
the nostalgia of the characters. About harvests, remorse, U-turns, choices, regrets,
ill-fated carelessness or negligence, the indulgences inherent in living in a hurry
or presuming wisdom in the absence of experience, of knowledge. And it has
everything to do with what we are experiencing now. Unconsciousness being
replaced by the painful notion of error, of the collection of errors that brought us to
the level of pain.
And alongside the pain comes longing, the eternal longing for the innocence that
was snatched from us at the crossroads of choices. The new moon in Pisces will,
before showing us what is to come, take away what was, what should not have
been done, what is and what should not be, what never was and what it has
become. Both Neptune and Mars meet in mutual reception.
Both are guests in each other's homes. Neptune doesn't appreciate Aries' hostilities,
and Mars doesn't appreciate Pisces' fog. Here they are confronted with diplomacy.
How much it is needed in a world of hostilities and wars, of competition and
arrogance. Two days later, we have the arrival of the Spring Equinox, the beginning
of the journey, with the Sun in command of the Self, along with the Severe teacher
and the Indulgent teacher, the one of gray Realities and the one of masked Illusions
in perilous challenges to Jupiter, there in Cancer, and in some "healthy" challenges
with Uranus in pre-exit from Taurus's earth, heading towards the mental terrain of
Gemini. Nothing will be superficial anymore.
In a feverish and "prolonged" re-entry, Uranus will shake everything up. After April,
there will be the April festivities, the constant challenges and the diplomatic struggles.
Make good use of the aspects. Of all the lives I've had before, I see that the human
species is by far the most dangerous. Don't compromise in your choices, don't make
them for the sake of others without considering your own. Now about the book.
Before the Coffee Gets Cold is a lighthearted reflection of the real life we lead,
where we reap the consequences. The synopsis is this:
What would you do if you could go back in time? A touching and inspiring novel.
A rumor circulates through Tokyo. Hidden in a small alley in the city, there's a café
that's over 100 years old. With a hot cup of coffee, if you sit in the right place, they
offer you something more: the chance to go back to the past. In Before the Coffee
Gets Cold, we follow the journeys of four women who seek to return to defining
moments in their lives to change them: talking to their departed boyfriend, reading
a letter from their husband with Alzheimer's, seeing their sister one last time, and
meeting the son they never saw. But time travel has conditions and risks...
And nothing they do will change the present. A table, a coffee, and a decision.
A story about love. Lost time and the opportunities the future holds.
The author is Japanese. From Osaka, Toquio.
