Eternal return
We are, in part, the absence
of what we touch.
Image of what we are being,
continuous reflections,
refracted shadows
A testimony written on record
that belies our timelessness.
What does physical mortality say?
Quantum mechanics?
Sacred geometry? The source
What lends consistency
to Torre do Tombo?
We are a name.
And, more than a name,
the reflection of an essence of
tendency to eternal return.
A soul dressed in physical missions
fighting our homesickness.
From the stone that time polishes,
there are remnants of others in us
Footprints that the sea comes
and erases, also in them
Today I'm the one,
the vacancy that comes
Clean the sandcastle.
What we both inhabit,
one day.
So be it, God
