New Path
The past man lamented, when the
deadlines expired, he rehearsed
a new speech, threatening some paradises.
I had stopped believing in words
and poetry read it in books.
Behold, another has arisen new,
in his old age of one who has already
ived worlds. She got it
that his destiny passed through him
and his know-how was good
for him without promises,
but fulfilling the deadline of the present day.
This madness of the sun rising every day.
I dispensed with opium and the old man.
I wanted a new path,
this one of difficult but concrete paths.
Sweet, hand to hand, no threats.
Making new poetry in his day.
