Auguste Rodin, The Kiss
Quid pro quo
From desire and passion
I did not choose
They came together to meet us.
Physics and chemistry ah!
Order in chaos
You called it a piece of the puzzle,
the perfect fit of libido and heart.
At times she insinuated
herself as loving and tender
and others, wanton and luxuriant,
Don't make a choice between them,
follow your horniness.
Between my legs and your torso
Your tongue and my neck,
there was no convention
except for my groans,
which you still call poetry today.
In us, complicity is fire of artifice
My skin thanks you for your prose,
There is no place for quid pro quos.
